ARC Super Science Fellows: Ecological - Genetic Impacts of Climate Change (University of Adelaide, Australia)
25.07.2011

The Australian Research Council (ARC) has funded a Super Science project at the University of Adelaide which seeks to use a novel integration of ecological and genomic methods to assess rapidly and cost-effectively the diversity and uniqueness of South Australian biota.
The successful Super Science Fellow for this position will be involved in developing a new multi-modelling framework that integrates bioclimatic envelopes, ecological dynamics and genetic adaptation. The new modelling framework will seek to derive improved community and ecosystem understanding, and prediction for climate change scenario analysis. The modelling framework will also be used to inform landscape-level conservation and restoration guidelines, specifically refugia and corridor design.

Closing date: 16 August 2011
