A workshop titled "Natura 2000 and local communities - conflicts, experience and perspectives" will be held at the III Campus of the Jagiellonian University (Kraków, Poland) on the 29th of September 2010. The workshop is aimed at representatives of local governments, NGOs and all the stakeholders involved in the Natura 2000 programme implementation in Poland. The purpose of this workshop is to summarize the experience gained so far and to evaluate the solutions that can improve the future functioning of Natura 2000 sites. The workshop is organized, as a part of WP4 activities in SCALES project and, due to its regional character, will be held in Polish.
